As the "homework season" comes to an end over the next couple weeks I can start using tablecloths again. Here is a quick, easy project to keep your tablecloths from slipping. I purchased a tablecloth to fit the dimensions of my table. You can also purchase a few yards of outdoor fabric, cut to hang about 8 to 9 inches off the top of the table. Place your table cloth wrong side up on the table.
Done. The bonus to using outdoor fabric is that liquid spills do not soak into the fabric. Manufacturers do not recommend machine washing and drying outdoor fabrics but I wash and dry these often and they come out fine.
