It has been a hot busy summer. Just got this new kit for frozen smoothies from The HopeFull Company.
My kit came with both the silicone molds shown, 100 wooden spoons and a recipe book. With our fall sports season starting next week, I will be trying some of these recipes as a healthy snack before and after practice!
I made my own version of banana smoothie pops. Shown above left.
1 cup almond milk
1/2 cup quick oats
2 ripe bananas
3 Tbs. creamy peanut butter
blend in a blender until smooth
Makes 8
The beautiful pink pops in the picture were made from a recipe from the HopeFull recipe book. Not as successful - too soon to introduce beets and sweet potatoes in a frozen treat at this house!
